Plan of Correction In our weekly staff meeting on 9/17/24, the House Manager reviewed with staff the policy that a resident's emergency contact must be notified immediately, and no more than 12 hours after, a resident discharges or doesn't return to the recovery house as expected. We edited our Discharge Form to include a section where this is to be documented by the staff member working on the shift when the resident is determined to have left or not returned as expected. All Shane's House employees acknowledge that they understand the policy, know where to find the emergency contact information, and how to document making contact. |
