The House Manager provided refresher training to residents about our emergency evacuation policy, where to locate a copy of the policy, and the emergency exit requirements per Title 28 Chapter 717.30 (b)(1). Resident Lead cleared the obstructed path by moving furniture to its designated location per the egress plan maps. Residents were informed that furniture moves must be approved and authorized by Herkey Houses' staff and at no time should any emergency exit path be obstructed by furniture or personal belongings. Resident Lead will perform weekly walk throughs to ensure compliance and notify management in writing if there are any nonconformities. |
