This report is a result of an on-site recovery house complaint investigation conducted on July 30, 2024, by staff from the Bureau of Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site complaint investigation, 79 Blueridge Dr LLC HH5F6701 was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code, Chapter 717, which pertains to the recovery house.

§ 717.30(b)(1) LICENSURE Safety and emergency procedures - Exits
§ 717.30. Safety and emergency procedures.
(b) Exits. The licensee shall:
(1) Ensure that stairways, hallways and exits from rooms and from the drug and alcohol recovery house are unobstructed.

Observations
Based on an physical plant inspection it was found the recovery house failed to ensure all exits from the drug and alcohol recovery house are unobstructed.

Plan of Correction
Manager removed air conditioner from blocking fire exit in 3rd floor bedroom on 7/30/2024. Floor model air conditioner was added to the hallway window to keep residents comfortable while in the bedroom, and upstairs. Manager will be required to make sure all exits are unobstructed and free from any debris. |
