Fines are being collected by staff for residents failing to complete chores; however, the facility is not keeping record of the fees.
These findings were reviewed with the recovery house staff during the licensing process.

The House Manager will ensure that all RL's have a current fine logbook and that they are keeping a running tally of any purchases made for the good of the house. Instruction will be given to keep the corresponding receipt in the safe bag for any purchases. |

Plan of Correction The House Manager (HM) will review and instruct all Resident Leads (RL) the proper procedure for administering fines. The instruction will be as follows: Fines are to be given in $5 increments per infraction per our rules. Fine money is to be kept by the RL in a safe bag and logged in the fine log notebook. Purchases for the good of the house can be made with fine money. All receipts and money must be accounted for at all times and match the log in the log book. At no time are fines to be doubled or tripled. A resident missing a house meeting will be placed on contract as this is not a fineable offense. The HM will periodically review the log book to ensure the proper procedure is being followed. If discrepancies are found the RL may face disciplinary action. |
