Plan of Correction
To buttress existing processes that are in place for pest management, we have purchased two "hot-boxes" in June which are in process of shipment to arrive by 7/14/17. Patient belongings will be treated in the hot-boxes before being taken to the unit or to storage. This will also apply to any belongings subsequently dropped off during a patient's stay. Plan is to have the hot-boxes and related protocols and trainings in place no later than July 31, 2017. Staff training on new equipment and processes to be coordinated through the DON/ADON or designee(s).
