Plan of Correction
Plan of Correction:

1. PLAN OF CORRECTION

The facility will correct the cited area of noncompliance regarding water temperature by lowering the hot water

heater thermostat settings to ensure hot water at all resident-accessible fixtures does not exceed 120 degrees

Fahrenheit. Immediately following the inspection, the hot water tank mixing valves were adjusted, and the

bathroom water temperature was successfully re-tested and verified to be within safe regulatory limits.

2. PERSONS RESPONSIBLE

Director of Female Operations and Director of Male Operations

3. PREVENTION PLAN

To prevent this physical plant issue from happening again, the facility has implemented a mandatory Water

Temperature Log. Staff members will conduct weekly testing of water temperatures at various resident

accessible fixtures across the property using a calibrated digital thermometer. The weekly temperature readings

will be documented on a physical tracking sheet. The directors will review these logs on a monthly basis. If any

reading approaches 120 degrees Fahrenheit, immediate maintenance adjustments will be triggered.
