Observations
The facility failed to maintain a manual fire alarm system in the building designated as cabin # 5 based on a physical plant inspection conducted with the facility director on April 16, 2018 at approximately 3:00 PM.
The facility provides residential services 24 hours per day/7 days per week. Ten resident beds are located in cabin # 5.
The findings were reviewed with facility staff during the licensing process.

Plan of Correction
Outside In, has ordered the manual fire alarm system for cabin #5,to replace the current system of fire detection, the contractor will complete the installation of the system by May 31, 2018. Cabin #5 will not have any residents occupying those beds until system is installed. The Facility Director will verify that Outside In is in compliance with regulation upon completion of the installation, before Cabin #5 can be utilized. |
