This report is a result of an on-site complaint investigation conducted on January 9, 2024 by staff from the Bureau of Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site complaint investigation, Dreamlife Recovery LLC was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility.

705.7. Food service.
(b) A residential facility may operate a central food preparation area to provide food services to multiple facilities or locations. A residential facility that operates an onsite food preparation area or a central food preparation area shall:
(6) Store all food items off the floor.

Observations
Based on a physical plant inspection, the facility failed to store all food items off the floor. A box of Texas toast butter garlic croutons and two boxes of clear liquid fry shortening were observed to be stored on the floor of the second dry food storage area. These findings were reviewed with facility staff during the complaint investigation.

Plan of Correction
The Chef and the Assistant Chef will not sit food on the ground at any time. It will be stored off of the floor. This will be monitored weekly by the Administrative Assistant. |
