Based on a review of administrative policies and procedures and an interview with the executive director, the facility failed to provide documentation of a written agreement with a licensed hospital or physician, for 24 hour emergency psychiatric coverage.

Plan of Correction
The Executive Director revised Gaiser Center's written agreement with The Butler Memorial Hospital on July 23, 2009. The new language specifically incuded "24 hour emergency psychiatric coverage", as required. |
