Observations
It was determined that the complainant was not given sheets upon admission for her or her son. It was also noticed that some of the beds occupied at the time of this investigation did not have sheets on the beds. However, sheets were found underneath these beds and it appears that some residents are choosing not to use them. Since Gaudenzia is providing sheets for the community, it needs to enforce the use of the sheets especially for hygenic purposes. Should the resident be unable to use these sheets (allergies, discomfort, etc.) an alternative should be provided and documented in the client's record.
