This report is a result of an renewal on-site licensure inspection conducted on June 20, 2023 by staff from the Bureau of Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site inspection, Sancturay House was found to not be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code, Chapter 717 which pertains to Recovery House licensing.

§ 717.18(c)(3) LICENSURE Training
§ 717.18. Training.
(c) In addition to training identified and provided under subsection (a), staff persons and volunteers shall complete the following within 90 days of becoming an employee or volunteer:
(3) HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases training using a Department approved curriculum.

Observations
Based on a review of staff training records, the recovery house failed to obtain HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases training using a department approved curriculum within 90 days of hire.
These findings were reviewed with the recovery house staff during the licensing process.

Plan of Correct
I Nathaniel Germany the house manager and owner of sanctuary House have a plan of correction to correct the citation that was issued to me from the site inspection that Sanctuary House was cited for on June 20th during my yearly inspection. I have scheduled a training course for HIV and Aids Tuberculosis and sexual transmittable diseases. The date of the training is scheduled for 7/19/23. Also, all future employees that are hired will be required to have HIV, Aids, tuberculosis and sexual transmittable disease trainings.
