INITIAL COMMENTS |
This report is a result of an on-site inspection conducted for the approval to use a narcotic agent, specifically methadone and buprenorphine, in the treatment of narcotic addiction. This inspection was conducted on February 17-19, 2010 by staff from the Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site inspection, Aldie Foundation, Inc. was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 4 PA Code and 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility. The following deficiencies were identified during this inspection and a plan of correction is due on March 13, 2010. |

The facility has now contracted with Locum Tenens services to provide coverage for medical director or other NTP Physician as needed in the interim. The Program Coordinator will maintain oversight and insure compliance with the ratio of NTP Physician hours to current census on a weekly basis; will document Physician hours based on time directly dedicated to the NTP; and will insure that a clear report of physician hours is provided during monitoring visits. |
