Plan of Correction Effective 8/24/12, Twin Lakes Center will no longer check any insurances prior to the client completing an informed and voluntary consent. This will be completed prior to the admission or during the intake process by the scheduling secretary or the person conducting the intake. When possible, we will have the referral source complete an informed and voluntary consent to verify insurance coverage prior to admission.
Once in treatment a release will be signed by each client to allow Twin Lakes Center to check insurance coverage during their treatment stay.
The Directors of Residential, Detox and Outpatient will ensure that monthly audits of 2 clients per admissions counselor are completed for the first six months to ensure that this is occurring. The Directors of Residential, Detox and Outpatient will check for this during their quality improvement audits that they conduct monthly on all charts audited. |
