This report is a result of an on-site complaint investigation conducted on February 20, 2020 , by staff from the Bureau of Quality Assurance for Prevention & Treatment. Based on the findings of the on-site complaint investigation, Allied Addiction Recovery, LLC was found to be not in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility.

The residential facility:
(2) May not permit in the facility heaters that are not permanently mounted or installed.

Observations
During the physical plant inspection, it was observed to be a portable heater in the receptionists office the was not mounted or installed.

Plan of Correction
An email was sent by the Facility Director on 2/25/2020 including § 705.8. Heating and cooling. and a review that space heaters are not to be present in any of our locations. The Clinical Director will visit each site and review the email with all staff by 3/6/2020. The Clinical Director will inspect each site and ensure that no space heaters are present. |
