Plan of Correction 37 North was granted a certificate of occupancy by the local municipality in June 1998, which was prior to them entering into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Pa to conduct their own inspections. The opt in date was March 28, 2005.
The Division Director did contact the local code enforcement office within 7 days of cite to request a new certificate or schedule an inpection walk thru. A walk thru occured on August 31, 2011. Code enforcement recommendations were to install emergency lighting in the pass thru hallway and obtain braille exit signs. Both recommendations have been completed. A final code enforcement walk thru is scheduled for October 20, 2011.
Currently 37 North is utilized for only group therapy.
Should the local code enforcement officer be unable to issue a new certificate, the facility will no longer utilize 37 North for groups until one is issued. |
