Observations
Based on a physical plant inspection, the facility failed to store all trash, garbage and rubbish in noncombustible, covered containers.

The findings include:

A physical plant inspection was conducted on May 19, 2015 at approximately 10:30am. There was a trash can in the kitchen food preparation area that did not have a lid.

The findings were discussed with facility staff during the licensing process.

Plan of Correction
The issue with trash storage - that the lid to the garbage can in the kitchen was not in its proper place on, or next to the trash can. POC is that, going forward, the lid will be kept on the trash can in question, and ONLY removed for long enough to put trash into the can when necessary, then replaced, virtually never leaving the can itself. Facility Cook will be responsible for assuring that this occurs, and answerable to Facility Director for doing so.
