INITIAL COMMENTS

This report is a result of an on-site licensure renewal inspection conducted on June 25-28, 2007 by staff from the Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure. The following deficiencies were identified during this inspection and a plan of correction is due on July 25, 2007.

Observations
The facility failed to ensure that clients retained their civil rights while in treatment. Agency policy indicated that client phone calls are monitored on Speakerphone by facility staff and that facility staff may terminate phone calls if the staff person deems the subject matter to be inappropriate. This violates the client right to privacy.
