704.11(c)(2) LICENSURE CPR CERTIFICATION
704.11. Staff development program.
(c) General training requirements.

|
Observations Based on a review of employee CPR/First Aid documentation, the facility failed to provide coverage in all services provided to the clients.
The findings include:
Employee #5 was hired in 12-07-2004 and failed to complete any CPR/First Aid training. Employee #5 provided client transportation.
|
Plan of Correction The Facility Director will ensure that employee #5 has been scheduled to take CPR/First Aid training on or before February 29, 2012. This training is completed in-house by a staff member who is certified to teach CPR/First Aid by The American Red Cross. A training data system was put into place by the agency a few months ago & it now makes it easy to track employees who have taken CPR training & when the training expires. Copies of all training certificates are kept in the main agency & can be easily viewed when licensing visits. |
