This report is a result of an off-site complaint investigation conducted on May 19, 2025 by staff from the Bureau of Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the off-site complaint investigation, MC3M6701 Step By Step Sober Living Inc was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the recovery house. Therefore, we are requesting a plan of correction.

§ 717.29(b)(1) LICENSURE Physical plant standards - Bldg-Exterior-Grnd
§ 717.29. Physical plant standards.
(b) Building interior, exterior and grounds. The licensee shall:
(1) Keep the interior, exterior, and grounds or yard of the drug and alcohol recovery house clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair and free of hazards at all times.

Observations
Based on multiple staff interviews it was determined the recovery house failed to keep the recovery house in good repair at all time. The Recovery House was without electricty for multiple days and extension cords were being run from the recovery house adjacent in the interim.

Plan of Correction
The house was not without power due to use of my house next store at 304 W .21st St. But yes, we did have the power out for a few days from PECO. The power is now restored as 0f 5/30/2025.Our apologies for this inconveince and safety to our residents.
