Observations
The facility failed to conduct a fire drill during sleeping hours at least every 6 months. During a review of fire drill records on May 1, 2019, it was documented that the facility had a sleeping fire drill on May 30, 2018 and then not another until December 28, 2018. These findings were reviewed with the facility staff during the licensing process.

Plan of Correction
In order to address the deficiency for 705.10 (d) (5), Fire Safety, Outside In School will ensure sleeping hours fire drills are conducted at a minimum of once every 6 months. The Residential Program Manager or designee will conduct monthly fire drills and place the written document in the designated location to be reviewed by Outside In's Compliance Manager. In order to maintain compliance with this regulation, the Residential Program Manager or designee will complete a sleeping hours fire drill prior to June 28, 2019, as the most recent sleeping hours drill was conducted on December 28, 2018. |
