Observations Based on a review of client's grievances, the facility failed to document a follow-up to the grievance. The grievance will only state it was given to staff for further action.
One grievance dated 2/11/19 mentioned that the client was getting the wrong medication with no outcome of the client grievance.
Another grievance dated 2/17/19 mentioned that the client felt violated by staff on two occasions with not outcome of the client grievance.
This was discussed with staff during the complaint investigation.

Plan of Correction All grievances followed up on by the Patient Advocate will document the outcome on the grievance form upon conclusion of the investigation.
A monthly random check of the grievance binder will be conducted by Compliance to check that outcomes are being documented. |
