This report is a result of an on-site licensure renewal inspection and an on-site inspection conducted for the approval to use a narcotic agent, specifically methadone, in the treatment of narcotic addiction. This inspection was conducted on February 7-8, 2017 by staff from the Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site inspection, RHJ Medical Center, Inc/ Vandergrift, LLC was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility.

The nonresidential facility:
(2) May not permit in the facility heaters that are not permanently mounted or installed.

Observations
The facility failed to ensure that facility heaters were permanently mounted or installed.
The doctor's office included a space heater that was not permanently mounted or installed.
These finding were reviewed with facility staff during the licensing process.

Plan of Correction
The project director will ensure removal of all heaters that have not been permanently installed and assess the need for permanent installation of additional heating and complete as necessary. The clinical supervisor will review this regulation with staff and perform a walk through of the facility on a monthly basis to ensure continued compliance with regulation. |
