Observations
Based on an administrative review, the facility failed to ensure that narcotic treatment physician services were provided at least 1 hour per week onsite for every ten patients.
During the week ending January 26, 2024, the patient census was 300, which required 30.0 physician hours; however, there were only 28.25 physician hours documented.
During the week ending February 2, 2024, the patient census was 298 which required 29.8 physician hours; however, there were only 28.5 physician hours documented.
This finding was reviewed with the facility staff during the licensing process.

Plan of Correction
The facility director will review the physician hourly requirement with each of the physicians. The physicians will agree cover one another to ensure compliance with this regulation. If any changes are made to the physicians schedules one of the other physicians on staff will make up the physicians hours. |
