Based on an Offsite Revisit to a Medicare Recertification Survey completed on October 4-5, 2023, it was determined that Warren State Hospital was in substantial compliance with the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing health care occupancy. Compliance with the National Fire Protection Association's Life Safety Code is required by 42 CFR 482.41(b).

This is a four-story, Type II (222), fire resistive building, that is not sprinklered.
