Based on a revisit to an unannounced Medicare Recertification Survey completed January 3 & 4, 2022, it was determined that Wernersville State Hospital was in substantial compliance with the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing psychiatric hospital health care occupancy. Compliance with the National Fire Protection Association's Life Safety Code is required by 42 CFR 482.41(b).
