In Prompt Evacuation Capability facilities, there are no construction requirements.

Observations:

Based on observation and interview, it was determined the facility failed to maintain building construction requirements in one location, affecting one of one floor.

Findings include:

1. Observation on December 01, 2020, at 10:16 a.m., revealed the ceiling access panel was constructed of wood, and not gypsum board.

Exit interview with the facilities manager and facility director at 10:50 a.m., on December 01, 2020, confirmed the building construction deficiency.

Plan of Correction:

Given that there are no construction requirements for Prompt Evacuation Capability as per NFPA-101, 2012 Ed, Section 33.2.1.3.1, the occupancy does not require the gypsum board covering, therefore, no deficiency is present, and no Plan of Correction required.
