Shadyside Hospital
Based on two Occupancy Surveys completed on March 7, 2024, it was determined there were no deficiencies identified as related to the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing health care occupancy.
These occupancy surveys were conducted for the following:
1. Alterations to replace existing exhaust fans in the mezzanine with new exhaust fan arrays. This final inspection included 48 exhaust fans in the mezzanine mechanical room. Refer to Drawing Index Number H-23-0322.
2. Alterations to replace domestic water lines in multiple areas on the ground level, level 1, and level 2. This final inspection included various new water lines throughout levels ground, 1, and 2. Refer to Drawing Index Number H-22-0416.
This is a nine-story, Type II (222), fire resistive building, with a basement, that is fully sprinklered
