Based on a Recertification/Relicensure Survey conducted on August 2- 3, 2023, at Vitas Healthcare Corporation Atlantic, it was determined there were no deficiencies identified under the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing Hospice health care occupancy. Compliance with the National Fire Protection Association' s Life Safety Code is required by 42 CFR 418.110 (d).
This is a three-story, Type II (222), fire resistive construction, with a basement, which is fully sprinklered.

Based on a revisit to a Recertification/Relicensure Survey conducted on Janurary 24, 2024, it was determined that Vitas Healthcare Corporation Atlantic - Thomas Jefferson Methodist was in substantial compliance with the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing Hospice health care occupancy. Compliance with the National Fire Protection Association ' s Life Safety Code is required by 42 CFR 418.110 (d).
This is a three (3) story, Type II (111), protected non-combustible construction, which is fully sprinklered.
