Observations Based on a review of one patient record, the Patient Complaints/Grievances policy and other administrative documentation, the facility failed to follow its patient grievance procedures.
The Patient Complaints/Grievances policy states the patient will be provided with the Acknowledgement of Notification of Complaint/Grievance Resolution form, which will provide written notification of the actions taken to address the complaint/grievance.
A client filed a written complaint at the facility on July 28, 2023, and the facility failed to supply the client with the Acknowledgement of Notification of Complaint/Grievance resolution form.

Plan of Correction Any patient complaints or grievances will be responded to in writing moving forward and an Acknowledgement of Notification of Complaint/Grievance form will be signed by the patient when the written response is delivered to the patient. The written response will include any actions taken to address the current complaint. This will be completed by the clinic director. |
