Observations
Based on staff and client interviews, the facility failed to provide sufficient dispensing staff to ensure that all patients are medicated within 15 minutes of arrival at the dispensing area.During the complaint investigation it was discovered during interviews that there was a shortage of staff and this was the reason for the long dosing times.

By September 26, 2019, the Nurse Manager will have hired additional staff to ensure that clients are medicated within 15 minutes of arrival at the dispensing area. |
