This report is a result of an on-site licensure renewal inspection and methadone monitoring conducted on June 6, 2024, through June 7, 2024 by staff from the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, Bureau of Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site inspection, RHD Montgomery County Methadone Center was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility. 705.4. Counseling areas.
The residential facility shall:
(3) Ensure privacy so that counseling sessions cannot be seen or heard outside the counseling room. Counseling room walls shall extend from the floor to the ceiling.

Observations Based on a physical plant inspection, 10 am the facility failed to ensure privacy so that counseling sessions could not be seen or heard outside the counseling room.
The physical plant inspection was conducted at approximately 10AM and during the inspection, there was a meeting between a client and the physician assistant that was seen and heard outside the first-floor medical office.
The findings were reviewed with facility staff during the licensing inspection.

Plan of Correction Program Director will review confidentiality regulations during the staff meeting 7/1/24 emphasizing the importance of maintaining privacy during all client meetings. Session/appointment spaces will be monitored by all supervisors to ensure doors are closed and white noise sound machines are turned on when sessions are active |
