Initial Comments:
An unannounced complaint survey was conducted on June 4, 2026, at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Department of Health - Division of Acute and Ambulatory Care at the request of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). It was determined the facility was in compliance with Part 482 - Conditions of Participation for Hospitals - Subpart E - Requirements for Specialty Hospital - 68 Special requirements for transplant centers.
