Initial Comments:
This report is the result of an initial occupancy survey conducted onsite on April 16, 2026, and completed offsite on April 22, 2026, at Wellspan Carlisle Hospital, a Micro Hospital Campus of Wellspan Newberry Hospital, located at 1201 Letort Springs Way, Carlisle, PA 17015, which included new construction of a 10 bed Micro Hospital and the addition of 10 medical/surgical beds, increasing the Wellspan Newberry Hospital licensed bed complement from 20 to 30. Based on the occupancy survey, it was determined the facility was in compliance with all applicable requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Rules and Regulations for Hospitals, 28 Pa Code, Part IV, Subparts A and B, November 1987, as amended June 1998 and the current edition of the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospital and Health Care Facilities.
