Based on an Occupancy Survey conducted on April 9, 2026, it was determined there were no deficiencies identified as related to the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing Hospital health care occupancy.
This Final Occupancy Survey was conducted for renovation of the Widener building for a new Reading Room. Carpentry, acoustic ceiling, HVAC / Mechanical, electrical, flooring, and painting on the second floor to accommodate the new space.

The is a nine-story, Type II (222), fire resistive building, with penthouses, a basement and sub-basement, that is fully sprinklered.
