Based on an Occupancy Survey completed on May 28, 2026, it was determined there were no deficiencies identified as related to the requirements of the Life Safety Code for an existing health care occupancy.
This final onsite Occupancy Survey was conducted for alterations to extend sprinkler coverage throughout the hospital at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Upon
completion of this project, Geisinger South Wilkes Barre will be a fully sprinklered facility.
Refer to Drawing Numbers: H-24-0408 and H-24-0751.
This is a six story, Type II (222), fire resistive building, that is fully sprinklered.
