Psychiatric Facility

Based on an occupancy inspection conducted October 7, 2019, and completed on November 5, 2019, it was determined there were no deficiencies identified as related to the requirements of the Life Safety Code for a new psychiatric health care occupancy. Compliance with the National Fire Protection Association's Life Safety Code is required by 42 CFR 482.41(b).

This Final Occupancy Survey was conducted for alterations to infill a two-hour door on the fourth floor of the Kindred Specialty Hospital Building and create a 22 bed Psychiatric Care unit licensed by DHS and DDAP on the North side of the existing Specialty Hospital.

Refer to Drawing Numbers: H-19-1222 and H-19-0643.

This is a six-story, Type II (222), fire resistive building, with a basement and sub-basement, which is fully sprinklered.
