UPMC SOMERSET - Inspection Results	Scope of Citation Number of Residents Affected By Deficient Practice

Initial comments:

This report is the result of an unannounced onsite complaint investigation CHL24CH77J completed on May 27, 2025, at UPMC Somerset. It was determined there was non-compliance with 0003 Adequate Treatment on November 20, 2024, thru November 29, 2024. The hospital identified and took effective corrective action prior to the investigation to include: Hired a full-time Milleu Therapist to conduct therapy sessions for patients as per their policy. The Department of Health verified the hospital implemented corrective actions.

At the time of the investigation, the facility was in compliance with the requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Rules and Regulations for Hospitals, 28 PA Code, Part IV, Subparts A and B, November 1987, as amended June 1998.
