INITIAL COMMENTS
This report is a result of an on-site licensure renewal inspection conducted on March 14, 2018 by staff from the Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the on-site inspection, My Sister's Place Thomas Jefferson University was found to be not in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility.	Plan of Correction
705.7 (b) (6) LICENSURE Food service. 705.7. Food service. (b) A residential facility may operate a central food preparation area to provide food services to multiple facilities or locations. A residential facility that operates an onsite food preparation area or a central food preparation area shall: (6) Store all food items off the floor.
Observations A Physical Plant inspection was conducted on March 14, 2018. Base on the physical plant inspection the facility fail to store all food items off the floor. A box of food was found on the floor in the dry food storage closet.These finding were reviewed with facility staff during the licensing process	Plan of Correction All food and bins have been removed from the floor and are stored on shelving units. Signs have been posted and all staff have been provided a memo. The Residential Operations Director in conjunction with the cook, will ensure that the food remains on the shelving units and off the floor. The cook will check this daily and the Residential Operations Director will randomly check weekly, for the first month, and then monthly after no further incidents.
