INITIAL COMMENTS |
This report is a result of an initial on-site licensing inspection conducted on February 28, 2012, by staff from the Division of Drug and Alcohol Program Licensure. Based on the findings of the initial inspection, T. W. Ponessa was found not to be in compliance with the applicable chapters of 28 PA Code which pertain to the facility.
Since this was the initial inspection conducted, not all regulations were reviewed. During future inspections, all regulations will be reviewed for compliance.

705.24 (3) LICENSURE Bathrooms.
705.24. Bathrooms.
The nonresidential facility shall:
(3) Have hot and cold water under pressure. Hot water temperature may not exceed 120F.

Observations Based on a physical plant inspection, the facility failed to maintain water temperatures below 120 findings include:
A physical plant tour was conducted on February 28, 2012. The water temperature in the facility rest room was tested. The temperature was 130 facility director confirmed the findings.

The nonresidential facility shall:
(5) Ventilate bathrooms by exhaust fan or window.

Observations Based on a physical plant inspection, the facility failed to maintain a working exhaust fan.
The findings include:
A physical plant tour was conducted on February 28, 2012. The facility rest room exhaust fan was tested. It failed to work.
The facility director confirmed the findings.
